  • Het doen van onderzoek naar nationale en internationale ontwikkelingen in het betalingsverkeer en aanverwante onderzoeken met directe impact op het betalingsverkeer, deze informatie zodanig presenteren aan de raadsvergadering dat dit kan worden beoordeeld en gedachten over kunnen worden uitgewisseld;
  • Voorwerk doen bij de verschillende doelgroepen die zijn vertegenwoordigd in de Raad aangaande de onderwerpen op de agenda en daarnaar vooronderzoek doen;
  • Het tijdig voorbereiden van de agenda voor de vergaderingen;
  • Het gereed krijgen van convenanten die voortvloeien uit de door de Raad verstrekte adviezen;
